Gabrielle Hase - Non-Executive Director

  • Ultra Commerce: Non-Executive Director 2021 – Present

    Ultra Commerce is an all-in-one global headless e-Commerce platform that offers enterprise scale with unbeatable flexibility for the business-to-business sector. Based in Sydney, Australia, Ultra Commerce recently acquired a complementary technology business based in Boston, Massachusetts.

  • K3 PLC: Non-Executive Director 2021 – Present

    K3 PLC is transforming retail for good by driving positive change in fashion. K3 is a well-established provider of business-critical software solutions that equips companies across the globe with insights and control over key processes integral to the smooth running of their operations. The Group sells a range of solutions and has over 2,500 customers. It is primarily focused on serving the fashion, apparel, and designer sectors, and also serves customers in the wider retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Clients include IKEA, Ted Baker and Columbia, and it recently acquired ViJi, a French supply chain traceability platform.

  • Planks Clothing: Chair 2020 - Present

    Planks is a rider-owned, environmentally conscious skiwear brand inspired by British design, mountain lifestyle, and street culture. Based in Manchester, Planks clothing can be seen on skiers all over the world. Gabrielle joined as a Non-Executive Director in 2020 and assumed the Chair role in April 2022. The brand has global omnichannel distribution and a strong commitment to ethical sourcing and manufacturing, and it sponsors and collaborates with Olympic athletes including James Woods and Kirsty Muir.

  • Tate Enterprises: Non-Executive Director & Member of Audit Committee 2021 – Present

    Tate Enterprises is the commercial arm of Tate Galleries and oversees all retailing activity including retail, publishing, brand licensing, catering, consulting and event management. Gabrielle also sat on the Tate Galleries Digital Steering Committee, advising on their recent large-scale digital transformation project.

  • Sook: Advisory Board Member 2021 - Present

    Sook powers the new High Street and redefines what retailing is today. It is a high-growth, venture-backed property rental platform which reinvents the traditional model of a popup shop through hourly occupancy and digitally powered instore experiences. Customers include Uber, Depop, Radley and Enterprise Nation.

  • Charity Buddy: Member of Board of Trustees 2021 - Present

    Charity Buddy is a registered charity in England and our key areas of activity include providing free business and creative support to animal welfare organisations, providing sanctuary and rehoming support for geriatric animals, implementing a national rescued pet rehoming platform for all species and rewilding a 30-acre unimproved pasture site in Surrey.

    All Together is a Community Interest Corporation whose aim is to facilitate pro bono advice for CEOs, by CEOs. Born out of a response to the Covid crisis, All Together has connected CEOs to relevant advisors in retail, technology and hospitality industries.

    Amplience is a venture-capital backed, API-first, headless content management platform for enterprise retail that dramatically simplifies how clients plan, create, manage, and deliver content. With a modern API-first approach, the Amplience solution unleashes the creativity and productivity of content and technology teams. Amplience serves more than 350 of the world’s leading brands including Argos, GAP, Pets at Home, DeBeers, Ulta Beauty and JD Sports. Amplience recently received $100m Series D investment from Farview Equity Partners and Octopus Ventures.

  • Non-Executive Director 2015 – 2021

    LS Retail is a PE-backed global retail technology solutions provider, powering retailers, restauranteurs, pharmacies and forecourt businesses across the globe. With offices in Malaysia, the United States, Europe and Iceland, LS was strategically acquired by Aptos in 2021.
    During Board tenure, LS Retail grew revenue by 80%, Gross Margin by 26% and EBITDA by 183%, and launched products in new growth sectors Pharmacy and Hotels.

  • Non-Executive Director 2017 – 2018

    Knomo is a global omnichannel accessories brand based in London, that designs bags that work for a Life Less Ordinary. In 2018, it won the Drapers Accessories Brand of the Year and was strategically acquired by Fond Of GmbH in 2019.
    During Board tenure, Gabrielle worked closely with the management team to reorient the business around a direct-to-consumer business model, including a new staffing profile, brand campaign and customer focus.
